Praised by his peers in the thriller and mysteries genres, from Brad Thor and Jack Carr to William Kent Krueger and CJ Box, Cameron brings his field experience as a former cop, US marshal, mounted police officer to his gripping mysteries set in the Alaskan wilderness. Shaped by Ian Fleming’s James Bond and Tom Clancy’s The Hunt for Red October, Cameron always envisioned a life as both an officer and a novelist. He moved to Alaska with the US Marshal Service, one of America’s oldest law enforcement agencies (think Wyatt Earp and those Most Wanted posters in your local post office).
